TRAVEL THE SAN WAY – SAN TRAVEL

So you have decided to try out the San travel instead of being lured to the more popular destination of Los Angeles. Now you need to know how to get there. The good news is that all 3 San cities have their own airports. You can fly directly to the city of your choice and start your San travel.

San Francisco International Airport is located about 20km south of downtown, and is the largest airport in the Bay Area where you want to begin the San travel. This airport is the next busiest airport in California, second only to Los Angeles (LAX).

From the airport, there are a number of options to get to downtown San Francisco or to your hotel and to begin the desirable San travel. The airport has a people-mover system called the AirTrain that connects all four of its terminals, several garages, and the BART SFO Station, which is the only direct rail link form the airport to downtown San Francisco and the general Bay Area. So basically your San travel  starts here. A ticket to downtown San Francisco will cost about $5; you can take any connecting trains at any station depending on where your San travel directs you. It will take only about 20 minutes to get to the heart of the city from the airport, and from there to begin the real San travel…

Unfortunately, the city’s transit system, the Muni (Municipal Railways) does not service the airport. So if you are looking for alternative San travel start, there are airport services which can cost you a lot, and there are taxis that stop at the arrivals/baggage claim level of the airport. If you prefer to drive yourself, the airport is located on Route 101. Although getting a rental in your San travel will probably cost you more in time and money. Depending on what time you get on the freeway, traffic is anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour during rush times. The streets of downtown San Francisco can be unfamiliar and driving around can be extremely difficult for a tourist in his first San travel.

A last San travel option from the airport is to take a shuttle. The airport also offers numerous San travel limousine, charter or shuttle service. It will cost between $15-$20 dollars per person to get to downtown, and might take 45 minutes or longer depending on the stops in between. There are designated drop off points along the way so this means you might still need a short walk or cab ride to your San travel destination. Fortunately, driving is optional when you get to downtown San Francisco. Like most tourist towns, San Francisco has a great public transport system and walking is always a San travel option.

San Travel to San Diego is pretty much the same. From the local airport, San Diego International Airport, it is only about a 10-minute San travel drive to the downtown area. There are several shuttle companies that service the airport-downtown route, and cost about $15 per San travel passenger. The Metro Bus #992 The Flyer takes travelers to downtown San Diego, as well as connects to the Coastal commuter train, the trolley and the Amtrak Station. San Diego is also accessible by San travel bus from Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

“Do you know the way to San Jose?” is very cliché, but very apt for this next city San travel. Although the smallest of the three Bay Area airports, it is more convenient for San Jose travelers to fly in directly here than to neighboring San Francisco International Airport and start the San travel. Despite its name, international flights are usually restricted to Mexico, and international cargo. Being located right in downtown San Jose, this airport was eventually engulfed by the city thereby had little room for expansion. The relatively small size of the airport results in over-crowding of passengers during peak San travel season.

Traveling around San Jose is easy from the airport, since it is located in the heart of downtown. Numerous taxis, airport shuttles, limousines and car rentals are available right at the terminal gates for the San travel. The Metro Rail VTA Route 10 connects travelers from the airport to Santa Clara Station for other commuter rail service as well as other local San travel buses.

It is easy to travel from one San city to another, seeing as each of them has an airport. All three San cities are also accessible by plane from LAX, the bigger travel hub in California, that welcome us to star our San travel tour…
